Picasso Playdate Finally!

I can’t draw but I can paint! That is what I proved to myself last month. I have found another creative outlet and it is very forgiving.

Last April 20, Aki’s friends, Buwi and Maia came over for a painting playdate that I have been wanting to organize for ages.

Time really files. These were taken during our first playdates  in 2010.

They did not mind each other back then but look at them now.IMG_6887

While the kids were playing, the mommies, that would be Lui, Faye and me were busy preparing the table and chatting with Teacher Ricky.

Not bad for a first timer, right? I am so looking forward to our next lessons.

Look at the painting of these 5-6 year olds.

Thank you, Teacher Ricky for being so patient with us.

We highly recommend him. In case you are wondering, his fee is 500 per session which usually lasts for an hour.  For our playdate, we paid a total of PhP 2500 for all 5 of us. The fee already includes the materials. Teacher Ricky does not have a studio, yet. All private lessons are done in the homes of his students. Very convenient! Winner, right?

Thanks for coming over, Maia and Buwi! Until our next playdate!
