Buntit Diary: Week 29

Ola! These are my random thoughts throughout this week. No continuity bec I typed whenever there was something that I wanted to document.

Week 29

Current Weight – 160.5 lbs

Total Weight Gain – 32.5 lbs
Woah! 3.75 lb pounds in one week?! I blame buffet 101, polvoron, flat tops and cupcakes. I hope all these additional weight goes to babies and not to my hips.

 ======================

And for the first time since I was a newborn, my pusod is now an outie! I don’t think it is cute but at least, it does not feel like it is going to get ripped any minute now.
======================

I am left with less and less clothes everyweek. This week, I say good bye to my knee length pre-pregnancy dress because they are not too short for work!

=========================

One week to go and we hit the 30 week mark! We will see you soon, baby loves! Lord, please bless the next 6-9 weeks of this pregnancy. Allow me to nourish the babies inside my womb and prepare us for the new life after birth.

Look, bunny babies. Even our parish church put blue and pink banderitas in joyful anticipation of your arrival.

=========================

Oh mi, oh my! My back is starting to hurt because of the weight of ever growing baby belly. Now, I know how it is be old. Your back hurts. Your joints hurt (in my case, my singit). You walk slow. You feel sleepy all the time. On the bright side, I am comforted by the fact that I have 3 loving kids who will take care of me when I am old and whiny.

=========================

May 31 – Today, I officially end my baby clothes shopping spree. Pls no more temptations.

========================

Waaah! Just learned that Aki goes back to school next week! There are 2 things in our to do list that we haven’t done. Hotel staycation and big brother movie marathon. Plus I still haven’t wrapped the books, checked if his old uniform still fits and sew his new patches.

=======================

Franco donated his old iPhone to me. Now I can take pics even when he is out. I am still dreaming of a nice camera though.

Speaking of photography, I normally like to document thru pictures and will not say no to photoshoots. For some reason, a maternity photo shoot does excite me as much as it did when I was preggy with Aki.
========================

Monday:

Franco- Be, may mga leaves ba tayo this month?

Me- Wala! Wala! Tipid tayo ng leaves. Pag labas ng kambal natin gamitin.

 Franco – Final na yan ha.

Me – Final na final.
A couple of hours later, I got call from my sweet driver lover
Franco – Be, mag kakasakit ako. Mag sabi ka na sa boss na di ka makakapasok bukas ( if Franco can’t go to work, I have no means of going to and from work)
And we were not able to our respective offices for the next 3 days.

====================

Eight weeks (most likely less actually) to go and we still haven’t finalized our sleeping arrangements. One thing is for sure. The twinsipops will not sleep on the same bed with this rolly polly Kuyaki.

=========================

Guess who just joined chubby feet in the manas party?! My fingers! Yikes! And to make matters worse, there are times when I can’t move my pointer finger.

Week 30 will be munggo-filled!

========================

I had my first ever prenatal massage last Friday night. Yey! I would not say that it was glorious and that I heard Angels sing from the background. Getting a massage, no matter how light it was, is better than not having any. The thing with prenatal massages is that the achy break-y body parts like balakang, lower back and my swollen feet and hands can not be touched. If you are looking for a prenatal massage in the Paranaque area, contact Totally Relaxed at __________ . One hour is only Php250. Home service pa. You can go straight to sleep after your knots have been loosened. The therapist said by the 9th month, I can have a proper back and foot and hand massage. I will definitely bookmark that in my calendar.

====================
I am finally done reading Siblings without Rivalry. I definitely picked up a number of new concepts and tricks but I am not sure how easy it would be to put everything into practice.

Got my urine tested again. Still positive for UTI. What oh what else can I do to make these urinary bacteria finally understand that they are not welcome to stay!?
========================
Got a pretty breastfeeding dress from Marsy. Thank you, dear! You are so thoughtful.
Other things that arrive this week are

– free Huggies newborn diapers sample

– A big bag of baby clothes that I bought from Kathy of KSnaps! Online garage sales are the best!!

– Ring sling. Two years ago, I sold our ring sling online. I have regret doing so ever since I learned how expensive twin strollers are. This week, I woke up at 3am to pee. Normally I would go straight back to sleep but this time, I checked an FB garage sale page and found my old sling!

========================

My darling mother is in town. Her main agenda is to wrap her apo’s school books bec the mom is too lazy. Hehe. She swears by this product …… Instead of the usually plastic wrapper, it is a clear sticker paper. Tom, Monday she will also bring Aki to the barbershop for a haircut.
Since SM Bicutan had a mall-wide sale, we took advantage of the discounts. Standing too long and being surrounded by strangers got me stressed. I sat while my mom looked around and filled our cart.
Here is what is left of my to buy list
Things to buy:

Lampin – check

More diapers – Check

More wipes – check

Baby bath soap – check

Sling for me and Franco or any carrier – check

Postpartum Binder – I have one  that will help protect the Caesarian wound. I want one that will help bring back my old body.

Bfeeding pillow – My SIL said she will lend me hers.

Twin books

Buzzer

Snacks for hospital bag
Wishlist:

Camera

Cabinet – Finally found a carpenter who fixed the babies’ cabinet.

All white bedsheets – check
On her second day, my mom whose nesting instinct is always on high gear, lead the way to disposing most of our clutter. Hehe. What would take me days and tons of frustration with Ate Doring’s organizational skills, took Mommy only a couple of hours. Moms are truly heaven sent. I am glad I got to share this mother-daughter bonding with this pregnancy. I know it won’t be until many years from now but I already look forward to taking care of twin girl when she gets preggy and sharing my mom wisdom with her.

=======================
This Kuya is so excited that he sometimes squeezes my tummy.

=========================
Weirdest thing I heard this week:

Mother – while we were shopping for baby things

Me – Sige na ilagay mo na yang tabo at palanggana sa cart

Mom – Wag yan. Masama ang dilaw. Baka manilaw yun anak mo.

Happy 30th week tom!
