Some things that I am loving in my kitchen/dining area
Oolong tea leaves. We make tea at least twice a day.
There is no more space in my bookshelf for my cookbook collection so I transferred the books to the hangging shelves in the kitchen.
Most of these books are from, can you guess , can you guess, Booksale of course! Some books, I got for as low as 10 pesosesoses.
My napkin holder from Ikea. Doesn’t it look like it belongs to some modern art museum? Thanks, Mae for this gift!
Homemade fruit jams by Ate Doring
The top shelf of the fridge looks less messy now thanks to these plastic boxes. It would have been nicer of they were shallow but I did not want to buy new ones.
I am so loving this kitchen soap from Gourdo’s. Thank you, Margie! I will always remember you when my hands smell like fish.
I have also recently discovered that cinnamon makes boring oatmeal more interesting.
Our weekly fruit supply. Franco eats only 1 proper meal per day, usually at lunch. For breakfast and dinner, he only has fruit shakes (blended fruits, no sugar, no milk) and oolong tea.
This fruity balsamic dressing from Kraft goes really well with most blanched veggies.
And last but not the least, the star of my kitchen nowadays is the stone-coated pan that dear mother-in-law got us last Christmas. I dare say that it is the best non stick pan that we ever had. Because of it, making crepes is a breeze. Unfortunately I dont have a good picture of it but you may check out Peachy’s post here.
