Memoirs of a Mummy

Homemade Peanut Butter

We will never buy another bottle of peanut butter. Our homemade version is not only cheaper. It is also preservative-free, so easy to make and best of all, Aki loves it!

I could not get a good picture of my homemade PB because a little hand kept on getting the bowl

Ingredients:

2 cups  roasted peanut

1/2 cup canola oil

3/4 cup honey

3 tablespoons sugar

After I removed the blades, Aki happily scraped the food processor using his finger for 10 minutes.

Step One. I could not find any unsalted peanuts so I used  strainer and wiped each peanut using a paper towel

Step Two. Pulse the peanut until you get your desired texture. We like ours creamy!

Step Three. Add the oil and pulse again.

Step Four. Add the the honey and sugar and pulse again.

Step Five.  Keep the PB in a covered jar

After finishing his brown peanut butter and banana whole wheat  sandwich “slide”, he asked for a seesaw sandwich!

    1. Sis, I bought 2 packs of Toby’s roasted peanuts.
Yes, mukhang pwede siyang gawin using a blender. Scrape mo lang siguro from time to time para lahat ng mani ay madurog. 🙂
