New Plants

Oregano from my original oregano plant. Citrosa to ward away mosquitos. An ornamental plant from my mudra. Ashbita that lowers cholesterol.
Rosemary. Thyme. Tarragon. My third mint plant, Vietnam Mint. And my third basil, Lemon Basil. Dill

Next on my shopping list are: Stevia, Vanilla and Cranberry.

  1. hi maqui 🙂 just want to ask how are your herbs doing? bumili ako lemon and thai basil last week. nasa paso na sila. kinakabahan ako ngayon baka maiksi buhay nila. parang mali kasi ata yung lupa na nailagay ko kasama nila sa paso… *worried*

    • Hi Rachel! Ok naman silang lahat … except for the basils! Hehe. I noticed na maiksi talaga ang buhay nila. Once you see the flowers, malapit na sila mag suicide.
Yun mga ok na nakapaso in my experience would be the oregano and mint 🙂

      • waaaah! nalungkot ako… 😦 paso lang kaya namin dito. i researched a bit sabi “they don’t like their feet getting wet.” kaya dapat daw well draining yung soil. kinabahan ako lalo sa reply mo. sana naman wag masyado sila mabilis magpaalam. i love putting basil on our food. i’ll watch out for the flower. thanks!

        • naguilty naman ako, Rachel! the good thing with Basil, madali padamihin. Putol lang ng isang branch tapos tusok sa lupa, buhay na. so before sila mamulaklak, putol ka na agad para may kapalit na. And yun buhay ng isang plant siguro aabot naman ng 3 months or more. yun natitira kong basil dito yun mother plant, last year ko pa nabili.
