Memoirs of a Mummy

Lola Do, Cancer and the Magic Powder

Now that I am a mother,  I appreciate  all the efforts of my mom to raise me and my sister right.

Last week, I learned how to appreciate her effort in ensuring that we eat healthy balanced meals.

EARLY LESSON ON THE BIG BAD C WORD

Breakfast: rice, spam, tomato slices, ampalaya with egg, and kalabasa and saluyot soup

Jyl: lola, ayaw ko ng gulay.

Lola Do: Kailangan ng kumain ng gulay. Spam ang ulam natin. Kain ka nitong saluyot. Sige ka, gusto mo ba magka-cancer?

DEALING WITH OUR IN HOUSE PICKY EATER

Lola do: rocky, o kain ka na ha. binudburan ko to nang pampapogi. kain ka ng marami o para mas gumwapo ka pa

a few minutes later

Si Maia she’s starting to ask what happened to my other boobie so I found the perfect opportunity to scare her to eating healthy (hahaha gagawin ang lahat kumain lang ng tama!)

Leave a comment and make my day. What do you think?
